Cats have a tendency to just… show up in our lives one day. And then never leave.

Anyone who has ever adopted a cat knows that adopting a cat is not an obvious process. You never feel quite ready for it, until suddenly, out of nowhere, you do. There is a very simple explanation for that feeling. And that is that cats adopt their owners, not the other way around. You may think that you are ready, but a cat will not be distributed to you until you actually are.

More often than not, cats walk into our lives quite literally. One day, they just show up on our porches, inside our houses, on top of our cars. And then there is a period of adjustment. For a while, until you finally accept that you are a cat owner, you think that this random cat that is living in your house is not really your cat. Those are the moments we'll be looking at today.
